In discussing the War on Terror, there are a number of people who have told me there is no concern at this time. They say the war is elsewhere. I would be very surprised, if after reading this article, there is anyone who can still deny that the War on Terror has hit the USA. Please let me know your opinion.
Over the past 20 years, our enemy, JIHADISTS, have been coming here and successfully securing a toe hold. For many years our Homeland Security, FBI etc. have been searching for terrorists within the USA. Every so often our protectors have successfully uncovered terrorist plots prior to their causing disasters and killing Americans. It is a mistake to think there is only handful of enemies here.
In the past several years there has been a significant increase in the number of terrorists and their supporters identified, arrested and convicted. The following are only a few of the terrorist activities in the USA that have been exposed this year.
On September 29, 2009 Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtar,i a New York businessman, pled guilty, in a Manhattan Federal Court, to funneling $152,000 to a terrorist training camp in Afghanistan. Abdula said he believed the money was to buy night vision goggles to train Jihadist killers.
On July 27, 2009 the United States Attorney in North Carolina charged seven people with conspiring to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to murder and kidnap. Of the seven charged six are U.S. citizens including Daniel Boyd and his sons Dylan Boyd 22 and Zakariya 20.
On October 28, 2009 The Associated Press reported that, in Detroit, the FBI attempted to arrest Imam Luqman Ameen, a religious leader, on weapons charges and on what authorities called a criminal gang run by U.S. converts to Islam. The Imam was fatally shot after he resisted arrest and fired his weapon.
On September 21, 2009 the FBI arrested Tarek Mehanna in a Boston suburb. Tarek is a graduate pharmacist and is a teacher in a Muslim school, He has dual U.S. and Egyptian citizenship. The FBI said Mehanna and his associates were planning a holy war by attacking our troops and shooting shoppers in U.S. malls. The victims could easily be someone you know and love.
On September 17, 2009 the FBI arrested Najibullah Zazi 25, an Afghan living in Queens
linked to Al-Qaeda. Zazi is accused of plotting to blow up the New York subway system. Law enforcement officials say this was the most serious terrorist threat against the U.S. since the Sept. 11, 2001. If the plot succeeded how many Americans would have been killed on US soil?
Then there is the November 6, 2009 shooting spree at Ft. Hood Texas that resulted in the murder of 13 and wounding of another 30 by a 20 year veteran, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim. Maj. Hasan had purchased his weapons at a local retail gun store several weeks prior to the slaughter. It has been reported that Maj. Hasan has been heard referring to the War on Terror as the War on Islam. It has been learned that while shooting Maj. Hasan was shouting in Arabic “Allah Akbar.” God Is Great. It has also been reported that Hasan was proselytizing military personnel.
These sample cases should make it clear enough that the war on terror has landed in the USA. It is time for our leaders wake up and start publicizing the fact that we are being attacked.
To better understand the war our enemy is waging against us read “Stealth Jihad” by Robert Spenser and “Muslim Mafia” by Gaubatz & Sperry both of which talk about the secret underworld that is conspiring to Islamize America.

Praising Terrorists
During peace time, as well as war time, individuals who have preformed above and beyond the call of duty should, and frequently do, receive recognition for their efforts.
Normally conveying recognition occurs after the action and is meant to heap praise on the doer. Many supporters of our Jihadists enemies praise terrorist murderers and suicide bombers before, as well as after, the deed. What kind of person joyously praise known murderers who have just killed civilians or targeted grade school children? Here in the United States such individuals would be looked at as possibly being mentally deranged or just evil.
ADL’s April 17, 2002 article “Arab Leaders Glorify Suicide Terrorism” pointed out how prevalent it is in the Arab world to praise murdering terrorists by showing religious political and intellectual leaders praising suicide terrorists.
Linking to http://www.adl.org/israel/israel_suicide_terror.asp will provide names of the individuals making the following statements. “Bombers sacrifice their souls for freedom." “A poem to Martyrs." A telethon raised $100 million for Palestinian "Martyrs." “Hails to the Martyrs.” “Egyptian Clerics Voice Support for Suicide Missions.”
Then there was the then Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat, who said “there was no greater honor” and “Oh God, give me martyrdom like this. We are all potential martyrs, the whole Palestinian people." In April 2008 The Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas granted a special award - the "Sign of Heroism" - to two female terrorists. When so many leaders glorify mass murderers so much that they encourage everyone to strive to become a suicide murderer, how can we consider them other than bloodthirsty?
The April 25, 2007 issue of “Front Page Magazine” reported that official Palestinian TV implicitly called for suicide attacks on Israeli civilians. Then while the song “Oh, Lord, Martyrdom” was played, pictures of Palestinian suicide bombers, in white, floated across the screen.
Abdelbeset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi, convicted of murdering 270 people by blowing up Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21, 1988 received early release due to illness. This mass murderer was showered with glory by being flown home in Libya’s president’s private plane and accompanied by the President’s son. Upon landing in Libya he was greeted by a crowd of cheering people throwing flower petals and wearing Tee shirts with his picture. Again what type people would praise a mass murderer of innocent civilians?
On Feb 1, 2009 the “World Net Daily” reported that a Professor of Ethnics at the University of Colorado, Ward Churchill, was accused of having compared victims of the 9-11 World Trade Center terrorist attacks to Nazis, while praising the suicide hijackers
for their "gallant sacrifices." The outcome of Churchill’s law suit was decided by Denver District Court Judge Larry Naves . The verdict was that Churchill should neither be reinstated nor receive compensation. I can’t fathom how any logical person can make such a comparison.
In April 2002 the U.S. government urged Arab leaders to take a strong stand against suicide terrorism. However, statements by Arab politicians, religious and cultural leaders praised and glorified suicide bombings. They often hailed these acts as "martyrdom" and that these “martyrs” will be rewarded in paradise.
“The Investor’s Business Daily’s” article of February 8, 2008 reported that although the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is known to be a supporter of terrorists, by their own words, and is on the FBI’s watch list; according to CAIR they are supported by both Democrats and Republicans. See the list of 35 members of Congress who CAIR claims are their supporters in 2008 link to http://www.ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=287366195215136)
Many times this writer has, hopefully, shown that the Islamic terrorists and their supporters are threatening freedom loving people. There is nothing we can do to these murdering fanatics, and their admiring peers overseas. However we can impact our politicians who support these murdering fanatics or their supporters. Send an e-mail or letters to your reps and those politicians who are, knowingly or unknowing, betraying America.

Freedom of Speech is Fragile
For now, thank your lucky stars you live in the Untied States. For now, your freedom of speech is protected by the first amendment of our Constitution.
That is correct I said “for now.” There are forces (Islamic Terrorists, Jihadists etc.) throughout the world that are striving to institute Shariah (Islamic) law in every country. Countries that adhere to Shariah Law can and does restrict freedom of speech to enforce their beliefs.
When you finish this article ask yourself, is it possible that we, in the United States, could ever lose our freedom of speech? If freedom of speech is being effectively attacked in many countries such as Denmark, Finland, England and in the Middle East, what makes you think the Islamists could not achieve similar successes here in the U.S.A.?
On Jan 22, 2009 Fox News reported that Geert Wilder, a member of the Dutch Parliament, had been charged with insulting Islam and will be tried for this crime, His crime was producing, “Fitna”, a 15 minute movie (http://gribbitonline.com/2008/03/27/geert-wilder-fitna-video/) This film is scary and presents factual quotes from the Quran.
On Jan 26, 2009 the “Brussels Journal” reported another loss of free speech. Geert Wilder was invited to talk to the British Parliament. However a Muslim Member of Parliament, Lord Ahmed (considered a moderate Muslim) threatened to mobilize 10,000 Muslims to prevent Mr. Wilder from speaking in Parliament. As a result, upon landing in England, the authorities detained Mr. Wilder and sent him right back home.
On Jan 22, 2009 Susanne Winter, an Austrian parliamentarian, was convicted for her anti-Muslim statements which included talking ill of Islam’s prophet Mohammed. Then similarly ”Earth Times” of March 28,2009 reported a Finnish politician, Halla-Aho, is to be tried for blaspheming Islam. It may only be in poor taste to question Islam or Mohammed even if Muslims feel it is a crime. It is not a crime it is freedom of speech.
In March 2009 Islamic legal scholars held a five-day conference. According to “Jihad Watch” the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, using couched phrasing, demanded suppression of free speech. At the conclusion, the conference urged Muslim countries to strive to persuade other countries to make laws to protect sacred religious symbols of Islam.
The United Nation has held a number of conferences on Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance. The two most notable are Durban I in 2001 and Durban II in April 2009. At these events, as in others, the 57 members of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) had proposed that local, national and international laws and human rights covenants be reviewed and amended as necessary so that "defamation of Islam" is made a criminal offense. This seems to include quoting passages, by non-believers, from the Quran.
In “North America” the “Council on American-Islamic Relation” (CAIR) is known to institute and or threaten to take legal action to suppress free speech.
One such action was in 2004 when CAIR filed a defamation lawsuit against Andrew Whitehead, one of the founders of “Anti-CAIR,” for making multiple alleged libelous remarks about CAIR. Whitehead acknowledges he made statements such as "Let there be no doubt that CAIR is a terrorist supporting front organization.” Then in March 2006 CAIR dismissed the lawsuit.
CAIR called for action against a morning comedy radio program on KSFO 560-AM. The hosts did a comedic segment about Islam and its tenets, and joked that "Islamic finance is about living within your means and helping the needy -- unless they're Jews.”
On November 21, 2006 six Islamic leaders were ejected from a US Airway plane in Minneapolis. CAIR threatened to sue, the Airline and any passengers who reported that these Imams were spouting anti-American rhetoric.
The Middle East Forum just announced the launch of the website for its Legal Project, located at www.legal-project.org. The site is a source of information on "Islamist lawfare" – that is, attempts by supporters of radical Islam to suppress free speech on Islam and terrorism by exploiting Western legal systems and traditions
Even politically correct terminology limits freedom of speech. If the people of the United States allow the Islamic fanatics to succeed in having Shariah law incorporated into US law, freedom of speech will be in greater jeopardy. Be aware that the Shafi’i manual of Islamic law ‘defines “slander” as “to mention anything concerning a person that he would dislike.” Nothing is said about whether or not what is said is true. Between claiming blaspheming or slander or mention quotes from the Quran there is very little we dare say.
Even political correctness limits freedom of speech. Take 10 minutes and carefully consider what “Freedom Of Speech?” means to you and if you are willing to give it up
